Former MRO Software (Maximo) executive to lead MRO3i™ growth initiative
Louisville, KY – October 1, 2024 – Net Results Group, a leader specializing in MRO master data management for over twenty-five years, announced today that MRO industry veteran Rob Bloom has joined the company in a leadership role.
Rob, one of Maximo’s initial employees, was instrumental in bootstrapping MRO Software (NASDAQ: MROI) into the leading provider of e-business solutions for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for over 10,000 global organizations. Rob was strategically and tactically involved in moving the Company from a point solution with a fairly holistic view of the EAM market to the only pure suite player in the marketplace at the time.
Post acquisition to IBM, Rob was responsible for the integration of Maximo into IBM’s Smarter Planet and Smarter Buildings agenda with a strong industry solution focus earmarking large process and discrete manufacturing verticals and focusing on competitive barriers to entry.
He went on to lead the launch and program management of Maximo into the Smarter Infrastructure and IoT agenda to bring the complete life-cycle of transforming business operations to the forefront. Key initiatives included launch venues, routes to market, coalition building among services, sales, and product management and building necessary content and assets to properly evangelize to the marketplace. During this period, Rob also helped start and manage IBM’s India Software Group Marketing Hub and was recognized by senior leadership for this best practices and face to face interaction in Bangalore and Pune. Today, IBM India Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of IBM, has approximately 100,000 employees.
